Train

I went to a free Train concert the other night with my cousin....they were amazing!!  A lot of the songs were old, but everyone still knew the words..the biggest sing-a-long was for Hey Soul Sister.  It was standing room only, so my feet were very tired by the end of the night.

I was going to post a video of Hey Soul Sister, but blogspot was taking waaayy too long to upload, so pictures will have to do.

That's the lead singer Patrick's head on the right hand side of the picture.  He walked down into the audience for "Marry Me" and everyone went crazy trying to get a picture with/of him.

Nutella Cookies

A really simple recipe - nutella, flour, egg & sugar!  I added Reese's peanut butter chips and lessened the amount of nutella.  The cookies were so good hot out of the oven...crunchy bottom and soft center.  I got the recipe from Tasty Kitchen, which is part of The Pioneer Woman Cooks blog.  It's a great treasure trove of recipes and detailed instructions.

Ehhh?

How is USA losing?  I thought there were tons of Kpop lovers in the US?

Week 2

Week 2 of being vegetarian hasn't been too bad.  Hardest thing is eating at restaurants and not having much choice.  But I still have to wash my hair every day and haven't lost any weight!  So I don't think the no meat thing really works for less oi

The picture above is one of my favorite pics that I've taken, no photoshop at all!  Dunno if there's any scientific reason for the clouds looking like that....

Day 3

I have really little/thin/oily hair and my mom recently heard from someone that not eating meat may help with oil production in the scalp.  So I decided to go vegetarian for the month of April.  So far, it hasn't been too bad, except for when eating out.  There is such a sparse amount of vegetarian food available at restaurants!

Also, reading "Eating Animals" by Jonathan Safran Foer, very interesting book about farms, etc.  I feel so bad for chickens!
