Mother's Day

For Mother's Day, I made a blueberry lemon buttermilk cake from a recipe on the Tasty Kitchen blog.  Sadly, it didn't rise and was pretty thin.  I suspect either my baking soda or baking powder expired?  Do they expire? Anyway, the cake was still pretty good!

I stored it in one of those clear tupperware containers and left it outside.  One week later, I opened it and the cake had mold alllll over it
